As the quote from Burroughs, and "woke up" to return to the reality of the crowded top of the Ubiña: calm, lucid and in reasonably good health. The laughter and conversations of the other climbers who were on top me a bit stunned after quiet hours spent in the channel. Perhaps, he wanted the mountain to me but only this, we know, is impossible.
